Beautiful old hotel, lovely grounds and rooms. Walking distance to the harbor area, great seaside town. Quiet at night and no problem parking.
Having a parking space is important as it is difficult to find parking in the city. Cozy atmosphere
well located. Goodsize rooms. staff very friendly and helpful
no bar or food available except breakfast. breakfast expensive. some rooms only have showers
We had a beautiful room, very clean and very stylish. Breakfast was in included and was pleasant enough. The owners made good suggestions for supper in Honfleur. Recommended, though advisable you bother to learn a bit of French to get things sorted with the owners
Very good parking conditions. Spacious room, elegantly furnished. Quiet location, but still within ten minutes walking to the main attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Location and Grounds are good
The Hotel could be very good, its in a nice grounds a bit of a awkward route to the centre. The Hotel chages extra for everything, and the cost would suggest these are included. For me I would not recommend this Hotel as you get more for your Money in just about any Hotel even in Paris.
We stayed in the inside rooms in the Manor House and the rooms were very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The hotel has a very nice pool area and beautiful gardens. The hotel was very peaceful and restful and just a short walk from the historic Seine estuary and sailing center. The hotel offers a very nice breakfast in a garden setting and the staff were very attentive and helpful at all times. Honfleur itself is a delightful town to explore and there are many places to visit in this part of Normandy.
service and the classic french style hotel
This hotel was extremely unusual, but typically French in terms of its decor, elegance and old world charm. Our room was extremely spacious with a mini bar and flat-screen TV and unlike so many of the hotels we have stayed in, the bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean. The hotel has on-site (free) car-parking, wonderful gardens, a reasonably sized swimming pool and a sauna.I would cetainly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing break and hope to return to Honfleur in the future.
The hotel provides a continental breakfast which is not included in the room rate. At around Euro 15 per head, this adds significant cost to a weekend break. Better options and prices were available at any of the numerous restaurants surrounding the picturesque harbour. The weekend room rate of Euro145 was a little steep.
Beautiful setting, absolutely stunning gardens, very friendly staff, great location close to town.
The bath was lovely, very new and modern, but it was a handheld shower so a bit awkward.
It was like an old French chateau that had been added onto over the years. Decorated with old antique French furniture. It was lovely. Small and intimate.
There was no room service after 9.00 pm in the evening so if you wanted a drink or a cup of coffee there was nothing available.
Excellent location just a short interesting stroll to the port/centre ville, lovely hosts, great Internet and WIFI, excellent secure parking. Would be our first choice on a revisit to Honfleur.
A pity we weren't staying longer.
Staff welcome, grand, eclectic style. Excellent, guarded car parking. Location relative to the old port.
Bed too firm.
We booked it for 1 night, liked the look of it and asked to stay for two nights, then on the second night asked if we could stay for a further 2 nights and stayed four nights in all. A good base to visit Nonflkeur, car parking was safe at hotel, did not take us long to get to Bayeuaux for the Tapistry or the D Day beaches and Pegasus Bruidge. Also visited various cheese making locations
The breakfast was not as good as we would have liked.
We had a very relaxing 4 nights. Room was very comfortable and quiet, individually decorated and furnished. The breakfast (extra) was good quality and in a very attractive conservatory. The beautiful drawing room had 2 large vases of fresh lilies and the smell was delicious. Beautiful pictures and antique furniture gave it a lovely ambience. Free parking was a welcome bonus. Everything was perfect for us and we would like an excuse to go back!
